Thekkady

Thekkady (Idukki district) is the location of the Periyar National Park, which is an important tourist attraction in the Kerala state of India.

Chellarkovil is a sleepy village known for its waterfalls and hilly terrains. It is located in Kumily, Idukki district of Kerala.




Vandiperiyar
Vandiperiyar is a town in Idukki district, Kerala, India. It is famous for tourism, tea and coffee plantations, black pepper and other spice products. A number of tea factories are situated here. The famous river Periyar flows through the city.









Pullumedu
The winding journey to this hill along the Periyar River, offers a stunning view of hills draped in lush greenery. Velvet lawns and rare flora and fauna add to the beauty of Pullumedu.







Ramakkalmedu
Ramakalmedu stands tall in the western ghats at a height of 3500 feet above sea level. The ecosystem of the area consists largely of grass land Shola forest type which is laced by sporadic bamboo forests.
