The word "Thirumanjanam" means Holy bath. Aani Thirumanjanam ( Tamil month Aani) is a special day when an Abhishekam is performed for Lord Nataraja .
Thiruvathirai Festival, also known as Arudra Darisanam, is observed in the Tamil month of Margazhi on Thiruvathirai Nakshatram Day. It is a celebration of the cosmic dance of Lord Shiva, which represents the continuous cycle of creation and destruction.
